At the starting point the rollercoaster has KE because it `s in motion.The rollercoaster does not start with GPE because the coaster heigh is none. But as the rollercoaster moves up it is converting its KE into GPE. On point 1 the rollercoaster has the most GPE because it is at the highest point of GPE (it is at the highest point in the rollercoaster). At this point all of its KE is gone (it is not in motion(has no speed ). When the rollercoaster is at point 2 all of its GPE is being turned in to (the rollercoaster is lower)KE because it is speeding up.As the coaster gains KE its GPE is geting smaller because the height is geting smaller. At this point it has the most KE because it`s speed is the fastest. At point 6 the rollercoaster`s GPE is at its least . The amount of GPE the coaster has at point 6 is less then the amount of GPE the coaster had at points 1, and 2 and is now even lower. The rollercoaster is lower off the ground. The KE is also at its least because its speed is slower than all the other points. The amount of KE has also droped. Yet there is still a small amount.( speed is veary low ) Even though the rollercoaster`s energy is changing at each point . There is a connection between KE and GPE. The connection between them is that once there is GPE it can be converted in to KE and once there is KE it can be converted in to GPE. But there can not be more KE than GPE.
